Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Mat 6:10

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. Jh 6:38

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils [demons]? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity [evil WU]. Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. Mat 7:21-27 Only he who does the will of the Father in heaven will enter the kingdom of heaven. Only he who puts the principles into practice will weather the storm.

Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men [to do] so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Mat 5:19

All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost [Spirit]: Teaching them to observe [obey WU] all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway[s], even unto the end of the world [age]. Labour not for the meat [food] which perisheth [spoils WU], but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for [on WU] him hath God the Father sealed [placed his seal of approval WU]. Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God [that God requires WU]? Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew [show] us the Father, and it sufficeth [will be enough for] us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew [show] us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself [on my own WU]: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works [it is he doing his work WU]. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake [because of the miracles WU]. Verily, verily [most assuredly], I say unto you, He that believeth on [in] me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, [so WU] that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. Jh 14:8-14 Our work is to do the works of God, asking him, based on our believing through Jesus, to do things which help others and help them to believe.

But I have greater witness [testimony] than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the [very] same works that I do, bear witness of [testify about] me, that the Father hath sent me. Jh 5:36 Our works testify who we belong to.

Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto [the point of WU] death: tarry [stay] ye here, and [keep WU] watch with me. And he went a little farther, and fell on his face [with his face to the ground WU], and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. .... He went away again the [a] second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except [unless] I drink it, thy will be done. Mat 26:36-46 May God’s will be done, not ours, whenever our will is different from His, and though we may have to suffer.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will [desires to] come after me, let him [he must WU] deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will [desires to] save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Mat 16:24-27, Mk 8:34-35, Lk 9:23-24

And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of [for] all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves. And the scribes [experts in the law WU] and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine [teaching]. Mk 11:15-18 Jesus does not always do what’s safe; rather, He puts God’s principles into action.

For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted [seasoned] with salt. Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his [its] salt[i]ness, wherewith will [how can WU] ye season it [make it salty again WU]? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another. Mk 9:49-50 Let your light shine, endure persecution, do not be hostile with each other, rather, love. Jesus was salted.

John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost [Spirit] and with fire: Lk 3:16 he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost [Spirit], and with fire: Mat 3:11 The words of John the Baptist.

And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods [possessions WU] I [now WU] give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation [wrongfully], I restore him fourfold [four times as much]. And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as [because] he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. Verily, verily [most assuredly], I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest [dressed] thyself, and walkedst whither [where] thou wouldest [wanted to]: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not [don't want to go]. Jh 21:17-18 Loving, caring, and helping may get you into trouble in this world. Follow Jesus.

No man also seweth a piece [patch WU] of new [unshrunk] cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up [patch] taketh [tears] away from the old, and the rent [hole] is made worse. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles [wineskins]: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred [destroyed]: but new wine must be put into new bottles. And if any man hear my words, and believe not [does not obey them WU], I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth [accepts WU] not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in [at WU] the last day. For I have not spoken of myself [on my own WU]; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment [commanded me WU], what I should say, and what I should speak [how to say it WU]. Jh 12:44-50 You can’t have Jesus and not keep His words, principles.

And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Mat 3:10 Words of John the Baptist.

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman [gardener WU]. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it [prunes], that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide [remain] in me, and I [will remain WU] in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of [by] itself, except [unless] it abide in the vine; no more [so neither] can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth [thrown out WU] as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide [remain] in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will [desire], and it shall be done unto [for] you. Herein [by this WU] is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye [show yourselves to WU] be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye [remain] in my love. Jh 15:1-9 If we do not bear fruit we will be cut off, and will not remain in God's love.

Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation [people WU] bringing forth [that will produce WU] the fruits thereof. Mat 21:43 All Christians bear fruit; if you don’t really believe you won’t bear fruit; if you do believe you will bear fruit.

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them [the people WU] one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from [since WU] the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred [hungry], and ye gave me meat [food]: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto [to visit WU] me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily [most assuredly] I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto [help] thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Mat 25:1-46 One of three passages in the chapter showing that he who is not faithful in bearing fruit at the end will be condemned. He who does bear fruit will be welcomed by the Lord and rewarded.

And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. Mat 20:3-4 The Lord wants to put us to work, and then reward us.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye [remain] in my love. If ye keep [obey WU] my commandments, ye shall abide [remain] in my love; even [just WU] as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full [complete WU]. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Jh 15:9-14

If ye love me, keep [you will obey WU] my commandments. And I will pray [to] the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter [Counselor], that he may abide [be] with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. At [in] that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth [obeys WU] them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of [by] my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest [reveal] myself to him. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep [obey WU] my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode [home] with him. He that loveth me not keepeth [obeys WU] not my sayings [words]: and the word which ye hear is not mine [own WU], but the Father's which sent me. Jh 14:15-24 It takes a while to learn to apply the principles, it takes a lot of daily perseverance and help from God, but you’ll get there because God has created victory for you.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on [in] him, If ye continue [to follow WU] in my word [teaching WU], then are ye [really WU] my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Jh 8:31-32 Living by God's principles and in His Spirit is the way you learn the truth and become free.

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin [destruction WU] of that house was great [complete WU]. Lk 6:46-49 If you don’t obey Jesus you're just kidding yourself; you will be destroyed.

And it came to pass, as he [Jesus WU] spake these things, a certain woman of the company [crowd WU] lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare [bore] thee, and the paps [breasts] which thou hast sucked [nursed you]. But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep [obey WU] it. Lk 11:27-28 Blessed are those who keep God's word, not those who are close to those who do.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of [from] thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore [therefore,] by their fruits ye shall know them. Mat 7:15-20 You can recognize what people are by their fruit.

But wisdom is justified of [by] her children [deeds WU]. Mat 11:19 If you're wise, your deeds will show it.

He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. Then said he unto the dresser [worker WU] of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it [should it deplete WU] the ground [soil]? And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about [around] it, and dung [fertilize] it: And if it bear fruit, well [fine]: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down. Lk 13:6-9 Thank you Jesus, for buying us some time and putting extra effort into us, though we understand that there are limits.

But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder [half], and will appoint him his portion [place WU] with the unbelievers. And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes [blows WU]. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find [them WU] watching: verily [most assuredly] I say unto you, that he shall gird [dress] himself [to serve WU], and make them to sit down to meat [at the table WU], and will come forth and serve them. And if he shall come in the second watch [of the night WU], or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. And this know, that if the goodman [master] of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered [allowed] his house to be broken through [into]. But as the days of Noe [Noah] were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not [what would happen WU] until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. ........ Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat [the other servants their food WU] in due season [at the proper time WU]? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily [most assuredly] I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; And shall begin to smite [beat] his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, And shall cut him asunder [in pieces], and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: [where] there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Mat 24:32-51 We must be ready to meet God, living by His principles, faithful to the end, or we will not be saved.
