Closest related principles - Core Interrelations

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold [be devoted] to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon [money WU]. Mat 6:24 (Click gold Scripture references for Principle Interrelations)

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Mat 6:19-21

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell that [which] ye have, and give alms [to the poor WU]; provide yourselves bags [purses] which wax not old [don't wear out WU], a treasure in the heavens [in heaven WU] that faileth not [is not exhausted WU], where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Lk 12:32-34

And I say unto you, Make to [for] yourselves friends [by means] of the mammon of unrighteousness [worldly wealth WU]; [so] that, when ye fail [it runs out WU], they may receive you into everlasting habitations [dwellings WU]. Lk 16:1-9 Give a large portion of your wealth to the poor, and gain God as your friend.

Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of [from] thee turn not thou away. Mat 5:42

Take no thought [do not worry about WU] your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life [not life] more than meat [food], and the body [more] than raiment [clothing]? .... Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles [unconverted WU] seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you [as well]. Take therefore no thought for the morrow [do not worry about tomorrow WU]: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto [for WU] the day is the evil [trouble WU] thereof. Mat 6:25-34

Give us this day our daily bread. Mat 6:11 Look to God for your daily needs.

And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares [worries WU] and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection [maturity]. Lk 8:14

And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness [greed WU]: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. Lk 12:15

And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought [crops WU] forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits [store my crops]? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater [bigger ones]; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul [life WU] shall be required of [demanded from WU] thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided [for yourself WU]? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. Lk 12:17-21

It is the spirit that quickeneth [gives life]; the flesh profiteth [counts for WU] nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Jh 6:63 The flesh is physical things.

Verily, verily [most assuredly], I say unto you, Except [unless] a corn [grain] of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth [remains by itself] alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit [grain]. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto [for WU] life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. Jh 12:24-26
