Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth [from now on], till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Mat 23:33-39 Jesus longs for people even though they reject Him. He wants them to repent and turn to Him for healing, but some are not willing. How will they escape being condemned when they reject and persecute those God repeatedly sends in His name?

For what is a man advantaged [profited], if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away [lose or forfeit his own self]? Lk 9:22-26
