Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but [this happened so WU] that the works of God should [might] be made manifest [revealed] in him. Jh 9:1-3

Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Mat 5:48

Therefore [for this reason WU] doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, [only WU] that I might take it [up WU] again. Jh 10:17 God doesn’t love us just for having good intentions.

Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. Verily, verily [most assuredly], I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest [dressed] thyself, and walkedst whither [where] thou wouldest [wanted to]: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not [don't want to go]. Jh 21:17-18 Loving, caring, and helping may get you into trouble in this world. Follow Jesus.

No man also seweth a piece [patch WU] of new [unshrunk] cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up [patch] taketh [tears] away from the old, and the rent [hole] is made worse. And no man putteth new wine into old bottles [wineskins]: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred [destroyed]: but new wine must be put into new bottles. MK2:18-22 Mat 9:16-17 Sometimes things appropriate for old situations are not right for new situations, and the change may be difficult to accept. Do what is appropriate to being in Christ.

And herein [in this case WU] is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth. I sent you to reap that whereon [for which] ye bestowed no labour [haven't labored]: other men laboured, and ye are [have] entered into their labours. Jh 4:37-38 You may not see the benefit of your work; someone else may do the reaping, see people finally come to believe in Christ.
