Trust the Lord about everything He said, everything in your life.
We must apply the faith God gives us, (it brings healing, and we need to be
healed of our sinful nature).
Act11:22 ..... and they sent Barnabas to
Antioch. 23When he arrived and saw the evidence of
the grace of God, he was glad and encouraged them all to
remain true to the Lord with all their hearts.
Act14:8In Lystra there sat a man
crippled in his feet, who was lame from birth and had never walked. 9He
listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he
had faith to be healed 10and called out, “Stand
up on your feet!” At that, the man jumped up and began to walk.
Jam1:2Consider it pure joy, my brothers,
whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because
you know that the testing of your faith develops
perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its
work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. ..... 12Blessed
is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he
will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.
1Pet2:19For
it is commendable if a man bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because
he is conscious of God. 20But how is
it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if
you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. 21To
this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example,
that you should follow in his steps.
22“He committed no sin,
and no deceit was found in his mouth.”
(Isa 53:9)
23When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. 24He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. 25For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.
Rom1:7To all in Rome who are loved by God and
called to be saints: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the
Lord Jesus Christ. 8First, I thank my God
through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is
being reported all over the world.
1Cor16:13Be on your guard; stand firm
in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. 14Do
everything in love.
2Cor1:24Not that we lord it over your
faith, but we work with you for your joy, because it is by faith you stand
firm.
Jam4:4You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. 5Or do you think Scripture says without reason that the spirit he caused to live in us envies intensely? 6But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” (Pro3:34) 7Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. 9Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. 10Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
2Cor7:10Godly sorrow brings repentance4a that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. 11See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done. At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.
2Cor4:13It is written: “I believed;
therefore I have spoken.” (Psa116:10) With that same spirit of faith we also
believe and therefore speak, 14because we know that
the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus
and present us with you in his presence.
2Cor4:18So we fix our eyes not on what
is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is
unseen is eternal.
2Cor5:6Therefore we are always confident
and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. 7We
live by faith, not by sight. 8We are confident, I
say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
2Cor6:16 ..... As God has said: “I will live with them and walk
among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”
(Lev26:12, Jer32:38, Exe37:27)
17“Therefore come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” (Isa52:11, Eze20:34,41)
18“I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” (2Sam7:14,7:8)
2Cor7:1Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
Phi4:4Rejoice
in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5Let
your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do
not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And
the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and
your minds in Christ Jesus.
Col1:21Once you were alienated from God and
were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. 22But
now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you
holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— 23if
you continue in your faith, established and firm,
not moved from the hope held out in the gospel.
This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature
under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
Col2:6So then, just as you received Christ
Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, 7rooted
and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as
you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
1The1:3We continually remember before our
God and Father your work produced by faith, your
labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus
Christ.
2The1:3We ought always
to thank God for you, brothers, and rightly so, because your faith is growing
more and more, and the love every one of you has for each
other is increasing. 4Therefore,
among God's churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the
persecutions and trials you are enduring. 5All
this is evidence that God's judgment is right, and as a result you will be
counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. 6God
is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7and
give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when
the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.
8He
will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord
Jesus. 9They
will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of
the Lord and from the majesty of his power 10on
the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among
all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our
testimony to you. 11With this in mind, we constantly
pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his
power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every
act prompted by your faith. 12We pray this
so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him,
according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Heb4:14Therefore, since we have a great high
priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let
us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15For
we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses,
but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was
without sin. 16Let us then approach the throne
of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us
in our time of need.
Heb6:10God is not unjust; he will not
forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people
and continue to help them. 11We want each of you to
show this same diligence to the very end, in order to make your hope sure. 12We
do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who
through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.
Heb9:15For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance–now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
Heb10:19Therefore, brothers, since
we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, 20by
a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, 21and
since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22let
us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith,
having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having
our bodies washed with pure water. 23Let
us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
Heb10:35So do not throw
away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. 36You need to
persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he
has promised. 37For in just a very little while,
“He who is coming will come and will not delay. 38But my righteous
one will live by faith.
And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him.”
(Hab2:3-4) 39But
we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe
and are saved.
1Tim1:3As I urged you
when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command
certain men not to teach false doctrines any longer 4nor
to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies. These promote
controversies rather than God's work—which is by faith. 5The
goal of this command is love, which
comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a
sincere faith.
2Tim2:20In a large house there are
articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for
noble purposes and some for ignoble. 21If a man
cleanses himself from the latter, he will be an instrument for noble purposes,
made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work. 22Flee
the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness,
faith, love and peace,
along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Mat8:8The centurion replied, “Lord,
I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my
servant will be healed. 9For I myself am a man
under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes;
and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and
he does it. 10When Jesus heard this, he was
astonished and said to those following him, “I tell you the truth, I have not
found anyone in Israel with such great faith. ..... 13Then
Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! It will be done just as you believed it
would.” And his servant was healed at that very hour.
Mat9:2Some men brought to him a
paralytic, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic,
“Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.” ..... Then he said to the
paralytic, “Get up, take your mat and go home.” 7And
the man got up and went home. 8When the crowd
saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such
authority to men.
Mat9:20Just then a woman who had been
subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of
his cloak. 21She said to herself, “If I only
touch his cloak, I will be healed.” 22Jesus
turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has
healed you.” And the woman was healed from that moment.
Luk8:48Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.” 49While Jesus was still speaking, someone came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue ruler. “Your daughter is dead,” he said. “Don't bother the teacher any more.” 50Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don't be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” 51When he arrived at the house of Jairus ..... 54 ..... he took her by the hand and said, “My child, get up!” 55Her spirit returned, and at once she stood up. (also Mar5:35-42)
Mat9:27As Jesus went on from there,
two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” 28When
he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you
believe that I am able to do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they replied. 29Then
he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith will it be done to
you”; 30and their sight was restored.
Mat15:22A Canaanite woman from that
vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My
daughter is suffering terribly from demon possession.” 23Jesus
did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her
away, for she keeps crying out after us.” 24He
answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” 25The
woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said. 26He
replied, “It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their
dogs.” 27“Yes, Lord,” she said, “but even
the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table.” 28Then
Jesus answered, “Woman, you have great faith! Your
request is granted.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.
Mat17:18Jesus rebuked the demon, and
it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment. 19Then
the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn't we drive it
out?” 20He replied, “Because you have so little
faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you
can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move.
Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Mar11:21Peter remembered and said to
Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!” 22“Have
faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23“I tell you
the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’
and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it
will be done for him. 24Therefore I tell
you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it
will be yours.”
Mat21:21Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done. 22If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
Mar10:47When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to
shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48Many
rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of
David, have mercy on me!” 49Jesus stopped and said, “Call
him.” ..... 51“What do you want me to do
for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” 52“Go,”
said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight
and followed Jesus along the road. (also Luk18:35-43)
Luk5:18Some men came carrying a
paralytic on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus.
19When they could not find a way to do this because
of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the
tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. 20When
Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”
21The Pharisees and the teachers of the law
began thinking to themselves, “Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who
can forgive sins but God alone?” 22Jesus knew
what they were thinking and asked, “Why are you thinking these things in your
hearts? 23Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins
are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 24But
that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive
sins....” He said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat
and go home.” 25Immediately
he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home
praising God. 26Everyone was amazed and
gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, “We have seen
remarkable things today.” (also Mar2:3-12)
Luk7:37When a woman who had lived a
sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee's house,
she brought an alabaster jar of perfume, 38and as
she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her
tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on
them. ..... 44Then he turned toward the woman
and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not
give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them
with her hair. 45You did not give me a kiss, but
this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. 46You
did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. 47Therefore,
I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven–for she loved much. But he who
has been forgiven little loves little.” ..... 50Jesus
said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in
peace.”
Luk17:5The apostles said to the Lord,
“Increase our faith!” 6He replied, “If you
have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be
uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.”

faith, through our faith:
